Vegan Whipped Cream
- 1/2 cup aquafaba liquid from one can of chickpeas
- 1/4 cup icing sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch cream of tartar
- Add all ingredients to a bowl large enough to hold about 4 cups of liquid.
- Use a handheld beater or standing mixer to whip the contents of the bowl until it looks like marshmallow, and holds stiff peaks - this usually takes 10 to 15 minutes. When you tilt the bowl on its side the contents shouldn't move.
- Use wherever you would use whipped cream!
