
Vegan Tofu Scramble
A delicious Tofu Scramble that's the perfect blend of texture and flavour. Just 11 ingredients, 25 minutes and 1 pan required!
Ingredients
- 400 g firm tofu
For the sauce
- ¼ tsp. ground turmeric
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. onion powder
- ¼ tsp. paprika
- ½ tsp. chili flakes
- ½ tsp. salt
- black pepper to taste
- 1 ½ tbsp. tahini
- 2 tbsp. nutritional yeast
- ½ cup 120ml soy milk
Instructions
- Drain, then press the tofu for about 15 minutes, to remove excess moisture.
- Combine all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl, and mix until combined.
- Using your hands, crumble the tofu into a frying pan and saute until starting to turn golden brown, approximately 5 minutes. Add the occasional splash of water as needed to prevent sticking.
- Add the sauce to the frying pan and mix well to combine, until the tofu is evenly coated. Continue cooking for another minute, then remove from heat.
